Making the flight onward to Holland

…nighttime has fallen on the eastern coast of the northern parts of Canada as we are about to forge our way across the North Atlantic for our destination, the Homeland of my father, The Netherlands.

It is now 6:41pm CDT, we are 2486 miles from Amsterdam and 1714 miles from Minneapolis, MN at an altitude of 39000. 573 MPH across the ground with tailwind of 25 MPH.

Austin and Colin are sitting together on the left side of the Airbus 330-300 and Sydney Beth and I are on the right side. All of us in Business Class seats in the front of the aircraft. The seats are awesome, they fold out almost flat and almost like sleep in a basset, with a cotton covered pillowcase and a quilted comforter. Each seat also has an interactive computer screen to play games, watch movies, and see the progress of the aircraft.

We are scheduled to arrive at Amsterdam’s Schiphol at 625am local time....
